Barbara Heinrich
established her studio in Rochester,
New York
in 1986, the year after she graduated from RIT. Since then Barbara Heinrich
Studio has developed a recognizable style which consists of a distinctive visual
vocabulary marked by the juxtaposition of matte and burnished surfaces. The
studio has become a recognized name among galleries and collectors of
contemporary artist jewelry.
The identity of
Barbara Heinrich Studio is founded on originality of design, excellence in
craftsmanship and wearability. Each piece made at the workshop is stamped with
the studio’s registered trademark, the oak leaf.
The team of jewelers
at the studio shares a high level of technical know-how and consists of
apprentices, recent college graduates and master goldsmiths. They are supported
by a professional office staff, known by it’s customers for excellence of
service and promptness. All of the new pieces are now being digitally recorded
and stored and can easily be sent by email.
There
is a constant flow of new pieces at the studio, prompted by regular
participation in tradeshows as well as one person gallery shows. Please refer to
